Dissing the status quo...

is overrated.

I am livin' the status quo and it ain't so bad. It gets a bad rap.

Yesterday, Madison was reading her High Life magazine and Ian wanted something to read. I told him to go get my magazine over on the table. He walked over picked up my cigar magazine and said "Hotdogs!". And proceeded to read my hotdog magazine.

Holy week is upon us. This is the time of year when I especially miss the every week Catholic church experience. The stations. The starkness of the alter on Good Friday. That is something that always got to me. That was the thing that reminded me the most of Jesus' sacrifice for us.

I am going to bring Madison to church on Friday and we'll do the stations together. I think she will understand and appreciate them. I am looking forward to it.

Obama is in over his head. He agreed to setting up an international committee to monitor companies and what the execs are and should be making. What I don't understand is why the protestors at the G20 summit were jeering the leaders and not cheering them. They want socialism and that's exactly what we are headed for.
